Leading by a point at halftime, the Kings were out-smarted in the second half and given a lesson in rebounding (42-29) by the Bullets, who were backing up 48 hours after losing to the New Zealand Breakers in Auckland.

Brisbane shared the scoring workload more evenly and got significant input from the bench.

The lead changed hands an incredible 32 times in a mostly dour first half before Randle's last-second layup put the Kings ahead 41-40 at half-time.

The third quarter mirrored the previous two with a further 15 lead changes.
