After teammate and good friend Charlie Ward scored a late-second stoppage in the first round over John Redmond, Conor McGregor jumped the cage to celebrate an impressive victory. And that's when things escalated.

McGregor, who didn't have a corner's licence for the fight, jumped on Ward. McGregor then tried to go follow Ward when Marc Goddard, the referee, appeared to say something and put his right hand on McGregor, lightly pushing the UFC lightweight champion.

"The Notorious" one had three security people around him to stop him from going after Goddard. McGregor continued yelling and kept trying to get at Goddard. He eventually got to him and continued to point his finger at him. Again, Goddard slightly pushed him again. Watch the entire ordeal below.

McGregor and Goddard have the bit of history together, dating back to last month's UFC Fight Night 118 when McGregor's teammate Artem Lobov fought Andre Fili. Goddard was the referee for the fight and had to tell McGregor, who wasn't a cornerman, to go back to his seat and stop shouting fight instructions to Lobov.

I'm calling him out. Two rounds, that's all I need. That's all I'm going to say.
