"I've had a disagreement about one particular dish with all three of them," Nigella admits.

As for this year's batch of MasterChef Australia contestants, Nigella says she's been pleasantly surprised by their skills.

"They're the most talented yet," she enthuses. "I couldn't believe how wonderful the food was so early in the competition."

She's not the only one impressed by the competition, with former contestant Hayden Quinn telling TV WEEK he doesn't think he'd make it through the rounds now.
